Idea Submission Terms

Plain English Summary

When you submit an idea through this form, you're sharing it openly — not filing a patent. We review every submission. If there's a fit and we decide to build it, we'll reach out and agree on compensation in writing before any work begins. Until there's a signed agreement, neither of us owes the other anything.

Full Terms

1. Your submission is non-confidential. By submitting, you acknowledge that your idea is not a trade secret and should be treated as if shared publicly. Do not submit anything you consider proprietary or protected information.
2. No obligation to compensate. Zon Spark has no obligation to pay you, credit you, or offer equity unless a separate written compensation agreement is signed by both parties. Submission alone does not create any such obligation.
3. Independent development. Zon Spark may already be developing, or may independently develop in the future, concepts that are similar or identical to your submission. This does not create any claim on your part.
4. No relationship created. Submission does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency of any kind between you and Zon Spark.
5. No IP assignment. You are not assigning any intellectual property rights to Zon Spark by submitting. Equally, Zon Spark is not assigning any IP rights to you.
6. You own your submission. You represent that you have the right to share the idea you're submitting and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
7. If we move forward. If Zon Spark is interested in pursuing your idea, we will contact you directly. Any arrangement — cash, equity, royalties, or otherwise — will be defined in a separate written agreement signed by both parties before any development begins.
8. Privacy. We will use your contact information only to respond to your submission. We will not sell or share it with third parties. See our privacy practices at zonspark.com.
9. No guarantee of response. We review every submission but cannot guarantee a response to every submission. High-volume periods may delay review.
